1. How to order through this website
Payment for web orders using the Shopping Cart is made through PayPal but you do not need a PayPal account. PayPal takes you through the secure online payment process, using payment by credit or debit card, e-cheque or PayPal account. You will receive an e-mailed PayPal receipt, detailing the total payment and the order.

Please note that an e-cheque takes 7-9 working days to clear. The other payment methods do not require clearance and are usually almost instantaneous.

2. Orders by cheque and post
If you wish to order by cheque, please note that this should be drawn on a UK-based bank and enquire for further details via the Contact Form. Cheques will only be accepted on the understanding that the goods will not be despatched until the cheque clears (usually about 7 days).

3. Delivery Charges in the UK - Postage & Packing
Postage and packing is 4.95 per order for orders up to and including 95 in the UK. Postage is free for orders over 95 in value (not including postage) in the UK.

4. Delivery charges for Europe & other countries (that is, outside the UK)
We ship orders to all countries in the world and currently we have customers in over 80 countries. However, with increased cost of freight and postage, we need to charge our post & packing costs.

If you are ordering from Europe, USA, Australia or from any country outside the UK, you can contact us either via the Contact Form or by email to for a quotation. On receipt of your order, we will send you a Paypal invoice that can be paid by credit card, debit card or Paypal. If at this point you do not wish to proceed with your order, we will refund your payment in full.

5. Fulfilment and Delivery times
On receipt of your cleared payment, your order will be packed and sent to you by the UK’s Royal Mail postal service. We aim to send most orders within 3 to 5 working days.

Delivery is normally by the Royal Mail’s First Class* post in the UK and by the Royal Mail's international letter or packet services for overseas customers. This is essentially a Monday to Friday business hours service and therefore consignment at a post office usually takes place on a working day (Monday to Friday) following receipt of payment. There is no service on public holidays. Note that order fulfilment is from the UK and therefore delivery times are greater to addresses abroad than they are within the UK.

* UK orders over 1.7 kg in weight may be sent by Second Class post.

Please ensure that your goods can be received at the delivery address that you provide, or give instructions where they can be left safely, as re-delivery cannot be guaranteed especially where an undelivered  parcel is returned to us and you will be charged for re-delivery costs.

The Royal Mail states that it allows up to 15 working days for items to arrive in the UK and it cannot accept claims for non-delivery until 15 working days have passed since the item was due to be delivered.

For Europe, the Royal Mail states that it allows up to 20 working days for items to arrive and it cannot accept claims for non-delivery until 20 working days have passed since the item was posted.

For the rest of the world, the Royal Mail states that it allows up to 25 working days for items to arrive and it cannot accept claims for non-delivery until 25 working days have passed since the item was posted. 25 working days is 5 weeks plus any public holidays or other non-working days included in this period.

We would therefore suggest that you wait 2-3 weeks before advising us of any non-delivery to a UK address and at least 5 weeks for an overseas order.

Most orders are delivered very rapidly and efficiently, however, but occasional delays in postal delivery occur for a variety of reasons.

6. Urgent Deliveries

If you require a Confirmed or Urgent Delivery in the UK, we can send your packet or parcel by Royal Mail’s Special Delivery services. Special Delivery next day ‘Guaranteed by 1 p.m.’ will generally cost 5 to 6 more than our standard delivery service for small parcels. Saturday and 9 am services are also available but are more expensive. Add a note or send us an email when you make your order if you require these services.
